Communication - Broadband Powerline

The headend is the interface between the meshed BPL network and the broadband backbone (optical fibre). It transmits data from or to the low-voltage network with a gross transmission rate of 200 MBit/s each. Typical net data rates are between 5 and 50 MBit/s.
